RegisterMyAthlete Announces its Official Transition to the Aktivate Name

NEW YORK, N.Y. – July 5, 2022 – RegisterMyAthlete (RMA), a sports management solution, has been acquired by New York-based, Aktivate. The acquisition officially took place in July of 2021. However, the technology platform has since been focused on upgrading its user experience in order to better serve its customers, and will unveil its new look and design in August.

Aktivate is on a mission to raise the bar for the technology that Athletic Directors and school admins have access to at the scholastic level.

“Athletic Directors and coaches have some of the toughest jobs within their communities,” Hesky Kutscher, Aktivate CEO and Co-founder said. “If we can minimize the technological inefficiencies they face on a daily basis, our hope is they will have more time and resources available to focus on helping kids excel in their activities and at school.“

Living up to its core mission, Aktivate now offers a broader range of products to all RegisterMyAthlete customers including scheduling and a mobile app for communications at a very affordable cost. With this upgrade in technology, all RMA customers will soon see a new look when they log into the system.

“We have no intention of changing what the RMA customers know and love today when they use the software,” Kutscher said. “We believe it should be more intuitive though and offer them more time saving solutions”

Clair Anderson, founder of RMA, remains with Aktivate and is excited to see what RMA has evolved into for existing customers.

“As a former AD myself, I share Hesky’s sentiment for what our customers are responsible for, and I know Aktivate has the skill and heart to make a difference in communities nationwide.” Anderson said. “We don’t want to just tell our customers we’re in this together; we want them to truly feel like we’re their partner and they can rely on us to do their job well.”

RMA customers will be able to use their current login credentials to sign into Aktivate Registration (formerly RegisterMyAthlete). The aesthetics of the technology will look different, however the function and quality of the technology remains the same.
