Accessibility Statement

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA Last updated: July 23, 2026

Our commitment

Aktivate is committed to making its platform usable by all individuals, including those with disabilities, and targets conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as its accessibility standard.

Current conformance status

Aktivate's platform partially supports WCAG 2.1 Level AA. A number of accessibility practices are in place, and a formal accessibility evaluation is underway to produce a complete, verified Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT). Until that evaluation is complete, Aktivate provides this interim statement rather than an unqualified conformance claim.

Practices currently in place

  • Form fields are associated with descriptive labels.
    • Images include text alternatives.

      • Page language is programmatically declared.

      • Areas identified for improvement

      • Expanded ARIA roles and landmark regions for assistive-technology navigation.
        • Keyboard accessibility and focus handling for certain interactive components.
          • Skip-to-content navigation and consistent heading structure.

            • Color-contrast verification across the interface.

            • Conformance summary by WCAG principle

          • Perceivable - Partially Supports. Text alternatives and labels present; contrast and media alternatives to be verified.

        • Operable - Partially Supports. Keyboard operability and focus order to be verified; skip-navigation to be added.
      • Understandable - Partially Supports. Language declared and labeling present; error-identification consistency to be verified.
    • Robust - Partially Supports. Valid markup in use; ARIA roles and landmarks to be expanded.

  • "Partially Supports" follows standard VPAT terminology and reflects that conformance has not yet been formally verified.

Remediation plan

Aktivate is conducting a WCAG 2.1 Level AA evaluation using automated testing together with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing, will remediate identified issues on a prioritized basis, and will publish a completed Accessibility Conformance Report upon completion.
